Partners in Place

A year in the life of a chipmunk is illustrated in this Wheel of the Year by a 10-year old girl, using information from personal observations and field guides. Another Wheel by her sister does the same for the Canada goose.

The next pair of photos illustrate the Wheel of the Year for the red-tailed hawk and jack-in-the-pulpit. Students at Cambridge Elementary School studied the biodiversity of the area where they live. Each one picked a different animal or plant for the center of a Wheel and then did research to tell the story of the life cycle in words.
